If you are just now entering the music industry, this software is efficient enough to provide you with everything you'll initially need while maintaining a level of intuitive utility. Experts in the field will adore the amazing functional amenities this app holds, all of which are brilliantly innovative and highly effective.
In the most recent version of Sound Forge Pro, there are several additional functions that have been added from the older iterations. The user interface has been updated with much more intuitive functionality, so you won't have to waste any time before you start composing and modifying your own personal tracks.
With the power of Sound Forge Pro, any damaged tracks that you have can be fully restored to their original quality. These unique repair tools are part of what makes the software stand out from the crowd. You can start recording a new track with the push of a button, and you can take advantage of preloaded audio samples to find your perfect sound.
After you've finished composing and editing your song, you can use Sound Forge Pro's powerful and varied post-production features to create something truly unique. Those who have been seeking an audio editor that produces premium sound while remaining relatively easy to use should consider Sound Forge Pro.
If you're in a situation where only top-tier editing tools will suffice, this piece of software is the solution. It produces sound quality that is essentially unmatched, and the editing tools are powerful, reliable, and intuitive. You can use just about any audio file format with this software, so you won't have to worry about incompatible tracks.
When pristine playback quality is the only option, you can take advantage of multichannel recording to ensure ultimate clarity. If you don't register the software, it can only be used when you have an active connection to the web. If you do register the software, you can use it offline with no trouble.
In the most recent version of Sound Forge Pro, a number of tutorials have been added. These 'Show Me How' guides actually perform the task for you through the software as an example. This is much easier than dealing with unclear text-based instructions. The software now offers native support of DirectX audio plug-ins, and there are at least 11 of them preinstalled. You can also use VST plug-ins with the latest version.
Sound Forge Pro also now supports Flash and ASIO drivers. The user interface is completely customizable, and it offers native support for the Windows XP theme. Unfortunately, you'll have to buy the full version if you want to continue using the software after the 30-day free trial.

Audio Forge Sound Studio gives you a huge range of editing tools and features. With Audio Forge, you can restore audio, burn CDs, create podcasts, make karaoke tracks with the Vocal Eraser plug in, convert files, synchronize audio tracks with video tracks and capture audio from any source including old records and tapes.
You can work with audio tracks you already have or capture sound from your instrument, meaning that you can turn your desktop computer into a recording studio! The recording features will capture sound up to a resolution of 24 bits / 192 kHz. Considering you can easily burn tracks to a CD, Audio Forge Sound Studio gives you the power to produce your own album in minutes.
Audio Forge Sound Studio gives you the ability to customize your audio with over a thousand studio quality effects including EQ, delay, chorus and reverb. You no longer have to be a professional sound editor to make professional sounding audio. Despite being super powerful, the interface is intuitive, user-friendly and easy to learn. Editing tools allow you to mix tracks, balance sound levels and create custom fades, all with a drag-and-drop mechanic.
Audio Forge Sound Studio also includes the exclusive Audio Enhancer plug-in from iZotope, a one step audio processing tool that combines five audio editing processes into a single click. Edit the user presets and enhance your audio to broadcast quality standards with one click!
Considering how powerful this program is, Sony has made it exceptionally accessible for the lay person. You do not have to be a professional to use all the tools, but a professional will appreciate the functionality. The “Show Me How” tools are easy to find and will walk you through how to use various aspects of the program.
Audio Forge Sound Studio also happens to be available in many languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Polish and Russian.
Audio Forge Sound Studio is a professional program that can do a lot. It would be great for anybody with an interest in sound editing, audio restoration, karaoke, producing or recording music or with any sort of music interest in general.
The only real con we can see is that the full version costs $59.95. Not that we expect everything to be free, but that wouldn’t hurt. We really can’t find anything else that we would improve on Audio Forge Sound Studio, and $60 is actually really cheap considering how powerful the program is. In fact, if you think about how much recording studios charge per hour, $60 is ridiculously cheap!
